What it is built to pay for

The bills arrive all at once. Coverage means your family has money set aside for those bills instead of scrambling to cover them.

  1. The funeral and burial

Services, a casket or cremation, a plot. A traditional funeral can run into the thousands of dollars.

  2. The last medical bills

Hospital balances and care costs, so they don't eat into what you leave behind.

  3. Debts left behind

A car payment, a credit card, the last few bills, settled without dipping into what you meant to leave.

  4. Something left over

The person you name decides how it's used. What's left is theirs to keep.

How it works

  1. Tap your answers

What you want covered, your ZIP, and a few health questions. About three minutes.

  2. Pick a time

You choose the day and time on a calendar, whatever works around your week.

  3. Taylor calls you

A short, no-pressure call to go over the plans you may qualify for and what they cost. You decide from there.

Questions people ask first

Do I have to take a medical exam?

For many of these plans, no. The questions here help your agent narrow down which plans to look at; the insurance company makes the final decision. Some plans do look at health history, and your agent will tell you which is which.

I have health problems. Is it even worth my time?

Often, yes. Final expense plans are written with people who have health history in mind. What usually changes is which plan fits and what it costs. Not everyone qualifies.

Who actually gets the money?

Whoever you name. It goes to them directly and they can use it however they need to. It does not go to a funeral home unless you decide it should.

What if I decide it's not for me?

Then it's not for you. The call is there to answer your questions and show you what's available. Talking it through doesn't commit you to anything.
